THE START OF SUMMER

Despite the fact that it has rained for almost a week straight, the start of summer is just around the corner. Hopefully this rainy pattern will end and people will be able to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine.
Summer is probably my favorite time of year. Not just because of the warm weather but because of the great summer foods. Grilling is one of the easiest and healthiest forms of cooking and a majority of summer dishes are made using the grill.
J. Vrola Meats offers many items to add to your grill top. One of my favorite items to throw on the grill is a skirt steak. We offer cut and portioned skirt steaks. These steaks are perfectly trimmed and ready to grill. I usually marinate my skirt steaks in some sort of Italian dressing overnight so that they absorb tons of the flavors. I usually compliment my skirt steaks with a homemade potato salad and some corn on the cob.
